First Sushi

We gave Isabella her first taste/meal of sushi (no raw) and she ate it with relish! And when we thought she would eat no more, she would start up again. She was all about the "dip it!" in the various sauces on the table. The nori (seaweed wrapper) didn't even bother her. She ate everything. We are so proud.

What an intrepid eater! I didn't enjoy my first sushi roll until I was 19. Isabella's off and running toward so many culinary delights.

Junita - I think I tried (read: looked at) sushi when I was a kid and wouldn't touch it until all my army friends were doing it. It took me a few tries to like it myself.

Mari - I know! Most are, aren't they!? I have my fingers crossed that she stays this way.

Hi, I didn't have an email address for you so I thought I'd answer your question here. The pattern for the childs ball toy came from my sister in law who makes them. I use a regular singer sewing machine for my quilting, I don't have a long arm. I do free motion quilting. I hope this answers your questions and thanks so much for stopping by my blog, I love meeting new people in blog world! Steph
